Kill the Irishman is a crime drama film starring Ray Stevenson, Vincent D'Onofrio,Christopher Walken and Val Kilmer. The film is inspired by the book To Kill the Irishman: The War That Crippled the Mafia by Rick Porrello. The film is based on a biopic of Irish-American mob boss and FBI informant Danny Greene, who tried to shoot his way to the top of Cleveland's criminal underworld during the late 1970s.
