Night Catches Us [2010]

Night Catches Us is a 2010 drama film starring Kerry Washington, Anthony Mackie and Novella Nelson. In 1976, former Black Panthers Marcus (Mackie) and Patricia (Washington) return home to his racially divided neighborhood after snitching out a friend, with the intention of leveling hostile relationships with his former friends. The film debuted at the 26th Sundance Film Festival, and has since received critical acclaim.
