The Oxford Murders [2008]

The Oxford Murders is a French/British/Belgium/Spanish 2008 thriller film, adapted from the novel of the same name by the Argentine mathematician and writer Guillermo Martínez. The film stars Elijah Wood, John Hurt and Leonor Watling. At Oxford University, a professor and a grad student work together to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols. Released since April 2008 in the UK, the film was only released to US theatres on 6 August 2010.
