The Tempest [2010]

The Tempest is an American comedy-drama film based on the play of the same name by William Shakespeare. The film is directed by Julie Taymor and stars an ensemble cast including Helen Mirren in the principal role of Prospera, David Strathairn as King Alonzo, Djimon Hounsou as Caliban, and Russell Brand as Trinculo. It premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September 2010.
